Bibliografía del silencio (2003)
for solo bass flute and prerecorded flutes. Dur. 7’
premiered by Ulla Suokko at CAMI Hall January 12, 2003

This work suggests a musical metaphor of silence and the impossibility of  translation, both in words and/or sounds of the idea of nothingness. The work uses as part of the electronic materials the sounds of 16 flutes from Nada, nada.  In these flute sounds there is hidden text by Juan José Saer which functions similar to a chorus of a Greek tragedy. The character of the solo bass flute is searching for signs, answers or questions while getting slowly into the anonymous landscape of air sounds, noises and a dense texture of remote whispers.
